Creator-Friendly Podcast Ad Skipping
STFUAI downloads the publisher's episode normally and skips identified ranges during playback. It does not publish a stripped copy of the episode.
STFUAI downloads the publisher’s file
STFUAI does not edit the publisher’s feed or distribute a replacement audio file. The app downloads the episode from the feed like another podcast player, analyzes it, and uses time ranges to control playback on the listener’s device.
From the publisher’s distribution system, the episode was still requested. Whether a particular advertising agreement pays on downloads, verified impressions, conversions, or some other measurement depends on that agreement and cannot be promised by a listening app.
Skipping is a listener decision
Listeners have always been able to move the playhead, press fast-forward, lower the volume, or leave the room. Automatic skipping prepares those playback decisions before the segment begins.
Detected segments remain visible. A short summary lets a listener inspect what was skipped and jump back into the section whenever it is worth hearing.
Support still matters
Ads fund many independent shows. Listeners who skip them can still support creators through paid feeds, memberships, merchandise, direct contributions, recommendations, and choosing to visit sponsors they care about.
STFUAI gives the listener playback controls without taking ownership of the creator’s work or publishing an edited copy.
